Meet the Instructor

Duncan Taylor

Duncan Taylor is President and CEO of the Washington Bankers Association and President of WBA Professional Services, Inc. A seasoned association management professional, experienced technology consultant, and third-generation “accidental banker,” Duncan brings a unique perspective to understanding how an institution’s decisions affect its customers and stakeholders.

A self-described bank data enthusiast, Duncan enjoys helping bankers understand the details behind Call Reports and institutional performance. His teaching experience spans financial literacy, banking operations, technology, and capital budgeting, with a particular talent for breaking complex subjects into practical, easy-to-understand concepts.

Duncan is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School and holds an ABA Bank Operations Diploma. He also completed programs in political science at Highline College, business administration and IT management at Western Governors University, and nonprofit leadership and management at Michigan State University.
